Some People Are Irreplaceable - [MacauleyUfan]

I had a friend back in the day, who could make a dying man laugh. God's son, as he was fondly called, had a way of bringing life to every dead moment.

Not only did he have a great sense of humor, he was also a skilled negotiator.

I remember that fateful day, both of us were ambushed by some bad guys on our way back from school. He amusingly engaged those guys in a conversation so much that, they were left with nothing but admiration for his uncanny ability at settling dispute. I was thrilled.

He was very good at creating good memories.

He also had dreams - great ones.

Whenever I relive those moments, I only imagine how much of an achievement he would have amassed to himself, only if he had lived long enough.

People say 'no one is irreplaceable'.

Well, I can only believe that to some extent.

There's always a void that can only be filled by that significant person who left without notice.

Some of us have lost wonderful people - people who made life fun, beautiful and habitable. People who took out time to care.

And everyday, we try to push through life hoping to find a replacement, or better still, hoping that someday, time will cover up the hurt and pain.

This is life, and we are expected to be strong.

My heart reaches out to everyone out there who has lost someone special. You're strong!!
